This series features the persuading words of Francisco Sionil Jose (National Artist for Literature). Freeway combines the fashion and arts into more artistic trendy designed collection items with the intent of celebrating the contributions of F. Sionil Jose to the Philippine culture and literature.

Francisco Sionil Jose- Philippine National Artist, the author of famous novels like Viajero, Sin, The Rosales, Ermita is now the featured artist in the Freeway clothing line. Jose was awarded the prestigious title of Philippines’s National Artist for Litterature in June of 2001. In March 2002’s issue of the Discovery magazine, Jose book Ermita was rated as one of the The Top ten English language novels.
The event was hosted by a world-renowned Filipina ballerina, Miss Lisa Macuja-Elizalde. While Jose famous works were read by one of the most talented actress in Philippine movie and theater, Ms. Cherri gil, and by Tv personality and news anchor, musican and poet, Mr. Lourd De Veyra.
